Strapping Systems
Strapping systems tension and seal polypropylene strap around a carton or pallet automatically, holding the load secure for transit without an operator pulling and sealing strap by hand. Every machine here is backed by manufacturer warranty and AWC’s local technical support, with the option to buy outright, rent, or finance.

About AWC Strapping Systems
A fully automatic strapping system keeps pace with upstream packing lines, removing a manual strapping bottleneck at the end of the line.
Between the two models, AWC's strapping range covers narrow carton strap through to wider, higher-tension strap for heavier pallet loads.
An automatic tension dial applies the same strap tension on every cycle, cutting down on the inconsistency and product damage that comes with manual strapping tools.
Automating strapping frees up staff who would otherwise be manually wrapping and tensioning strap around cartons or pallets by hand.
AWC’s strapping systems range covers fully automatic arch strappers for high-volume, hands-off carton and pallet strapping, plus a semi-automatic model for lower-volume or mixed-product lines where an operator positions the strap by hand — both running polypropylene strap from 5mm up to 15.5mm wide. Model choice comes down to volume and how hands-off you need the process to be: the automatic model feeds, tensions, seals, and cuts the strap on its own at up to 37 straps a minute, while the semi-automatic model gives an operator direct control over positioning at a lower cost.
The Automatic Strapping System feeds, tensions, seals, and ejects the strap loop entirely on its own — an operator just pushes the package into the arch. The Semi-Automatic Strapping System needs the strap threaded around the package by hand before the machine tensions and seals it, which suits lower volumes or products too irregular to feed automatically.
The automatic model runs 9-15mm strap, suited to standard carton and light pallet strapping. The semi-automatic model has a wider 5-15.5mm range, giving it the flexibility to run narrower strap on smaller cartons as well as wider strap on heavier loads.
