Horizontal Wrappers
Long, reel-shaped, or oddly proportioned loads — timber, pipes, coils, cable drums — don’t sit well on a standard pallet wrapper, but a horizontal wrapper gives them the same secure, even wrap. AWC backs every machine on this page with manufacturer warranty and hands-on local service, with the choice to buy outright, rent short-term, or finance the purchase.

About AWC Horizontal Wrappers
A rotating ring pulls film fully around a horizontal or reel-shaped product, giving even coverage that a standard turntable wrapper can't achieve on this kind of load.
The range runs from compact systems for smaller reels and bundles through to large-format machines built for oversized industrial loads.
A tight horizontal wrap holds long or irregular loads together as one stable unit, reducing the risk of shifting or damage during transit.
Automating the wrap on long or heavy horizontal loads removes an awkward, repetitive manual task from your team.
AWC’s horizontal wrapper range covers ring-style horizontal wrapping systems sized from small to large — built for wrapping long, reel-shaped, or awkwardly proportioned products that don’t suit a standard vertical pallet wrapper. Model choice comes down to the size and shape of what you’re wrapping — from compact machines for small reels and bundles through to large-format systems built for oversized industrial loads.
The R9 and R9/A share the same four ring sizes (420mm to 1400mm) — the difference is automation. R9 is started and stopped by foot pedal, while R9/A adds photocell-triggered automatic start/stop and motorised in/out feed conveyors for continuous operation.
The Ring series (40/60, 100/140, 180/210, 250/320) are fully automatic, high-speed machines sized to the product being wrapped — from small parts through to large bulky or long items — with each model covering two ring sizes within its range.
Every machine on this page is backed by our in-house technical team for installation, servicing, and spare parts — so you’re not left waiting on an overseas manufacturer if something needs attention.

Horizontal Wrapper FAQs
Horizontal wrappers are built for long, reel-shaped, or awkwardly proportioned products — pipes, coils, timber, and similar loads — that don’t sit well on a standard turntable pallet wrapper.
The Ring series runs from compact 40/60 systems for small products through to large-format 250/320 systems for oversized industrial loads. Our team can confirm the right size for your product during your consult.
A ring wrapper rotates a ring of film around a stationary horizontal product, rather than spinning the load itself — giving even 360° coverage on long or irregular items a turntable machine can’t wrap properly.
