Semi-Automatic Bundle Wrappers
A semi-automatic bundle wrapper forms, seals, and shrinks cartons, trays, and multi-packs into a secure, retail-ready bundle in one cycle, without the cost or footprint of a fully automatic line. Every machine carries manufacturer warranty and is backed by AWC’s local technical team.

About AWC Semi-Automatic Bundle Wrappers
A semi-automatic bundle wrapper is the entry point into machine bundling: an operator loads the cartons, trays, or multi-packs onto the infeed, and the machine handles the film wrap, seal, and shrink in one cycle. It’s a step up from hand-wrapping or a manual shrink tunnel, without the conveyor integration and higher price of a fully automatic line.
They suit lower-to-mid volume runs where a person is already handling the product between stations, so pausing to load the wrapper doesn’t cost you a separate step. That makes them a common fit for smaller production lines, contract packers, and businesses bundling a mixed range of pack sizes that don’t justify a dedicated automatic line.
Film Width is the spec that determines how large a bundle the machine can wrap in one pass — it needs to be wide enough to fully wrap your product footprint with enough film to seal. The BP 600 runs a 540mm film width; the BP 800 steps up to 750mm for larger bundles or multi-packs.
Max Pack Height sets the tallest bundle the machine can seal — both the BP 600 and BP 800 handle up to 380mm, which covers the great majority of carton and tray bundling jobs.
On output, both models are manual / operator-paced — you’re trading throughput for a lower cost of entry and a smaller footprint. If you need the wrapper to run inline with upstream or downstream equipment without an operator, our fully automatic inline and fully automatic bundle wrappers are built for that.
Both machines run on a standard 240V supply, so there’s no special wiring required for most Australian sites.
Every machine on this page is backed by our in-house technical team for installation, servicing, and spare parts — so you’re not left waiting on an overseas manufacturer if something needs attention.

Semi-Automatic Bundle Wrapper FAQs
An operator loads the carton, tray, or multi-pack onto the machine’s infeed. From there the machine wraps film around the bundle, seals it, and shrinks the film tight in a single automated cycle — the operator’s only job is loading and unloading between cycles.
A semi-automatic machine needs an operator to load each bundle by hand between cycles, which caps throughput at whatever pace a person can keep up. A fully automatic or fully automatic inline model integrates with a conveyor and runs continuously without an operator, at a meaningfully higher cost and footprint. Semi-automatic is the right call when you already have someone on the line and don’t need conveyor-fed continuous output.
It comes down to film width. The BP 600 runs a 540mm film width, which suits smaller bundles and multi-packs. The BP 800 steps up to 750mm, giving you room for larger bundles or wider multi-packs. Both share the same 380mm max pack height and 240V power supply, so film width is the deciding factor between the two.
That comes down to two specs: film width, which sets how wide a bundle the machine can wrap, and max pack height, which is how tall the bundle can be before it won’t seal cleanly. Both the BP 600 and BP 800 handle bundles up to 380mm tall; film width runs from 540mm on the BP 600 up to 750mm on the BP 800.
Output is manual and operator-paced, so actual throughput depends on how quickly your operator can load and unload the machine rather than a fixed cycle rate. If you need a set output figure to plan a line around, our fully automatic and fully automatic inline models run at a defined packs-per-minute rate instead.
Both the BP 600 and BP 800 run on a standard 240V single-phase supply, so most Australian sites can run them without special wiring.
